FAQ’S – Indoor Drone Shows
An indoor drone show typically lasts between 2 and 10 minutes, depending on the venue, event type, and choreography complexity.
- Short Shows (2-5 minutes): Perfect for product launches, corporate events, or as part of a larger performance.
- Standard Shows (5-7 minutes): Common for private events, conferences, and halftime shows, offering a balance of impact and engagement.
- Longer Shows (7-10 minutes): Less common indoors due to battery constraints but achievable with careful planning or multiple drone waves.

The space required for an indoor drone show depends on the number of drones, their formation complexity, and safety margins. Generally, here’s a rough guideline:
Minimum Space Requirements:
Small-scale show (5-20 drones): 5m x 5m x 5m ceiling height
Medium-scale show (20-50 drones): 10m x 10m x 5m ceiling height
Larger-scale show (50+ drones): 15m x 15m x 8m ceiling height
Other Considerations:
Ceiling height: At least 3-5 meters is needed for basic displays, but higher is preferable for complex formations.
Safety buffer: A clearance around the performance area is required
Lighting & environment: Darker settings enhance the visual impact, and minimal air movement helps maintain drone stability
Absolutely! Indoor drone shows use specialised lightweight drones with built-in safety features like collision avoidance, protective frames, and pre-programmed flight paths to ensure safe operation.
We require permission from the venue.
Most venues with enough ceiling height and open space can host an indoor drone show. However, bright lighting, strong airflow (from aircon systems), and obstructions can affect performance. A site survey is usually conducted before the event.
Minimal power is needed, mainly for charging stations and control systems. The exact requirements depend on the number of drones used. We also are able to operate without any power being supplied to us.
Setup time depends on the complexity of the show but typically takes a few hours, including calibration, safety checks, and rehearsals.
